Slow Flow & Restore Yoga for Adults

Slow Flow & Restore Yoga is the perfect blend of gentle movement and deep rest. Classes will start with a slow, mindful flow to ease tension, build awareness, and connect breath with movement. Then, you will shift into calming restorative poses to fully support the body and invite a sense of ease. This class is ideal for all levels — whether you’re winding down from a busy day or simply craving a quiet space to reconnect and recharge. Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, relaxed, and renewed! The Swampscott Health Department has contracted with Stacey Shane Lloyd to offer this FREE program to Swampscott residents! Stacey is an experienced yoga instructor and sound healing facilitator. She has pursued her passion for yoga for over two decades, immersing herself in the community furthering her practice. Stacey received her 200-Hour at Cape Ann Yoga School in 2017 and has additional training in sound healing, restorative, Reiki and working with children and teens from Kripalu, Yoga Loft, and Karma Kids. Stacey is also the founder of Illuminate Yoga & Wellness, which offers curated wellness experiences from yoga, mindfulness, and sound healing. Stacey’s classes are a blend of Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, and Restorative with a playful vibe. Her intention is to provide students with an opportunity to quiet the mind, cultivate an inner awareness, and find a sense of peace within. You must be at least 18 years of age or older in order to participate in this free Slow Flow & Restore Yoga for Adults program.

This program is part of the Swampscott Health Department’s Public Health and Mental Health programs and initiatives that were created using a portion of the town’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds in order to address the ongoing public health and mental health challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
