Ahead of Their Time – Inspiring Women of Literature
Celebrate Women’s History Month with this lively staged reading featuring twelve of classic literature’s most exciting leading ladies and historical women. Local actress and Swampscott Library children’s room assistant Julie Butters performs as Elizabeth Bennet, Jane Eyre, Joan of Arc, suffrage orator Anna E. Dickinson, Anne Bradstreet, and more. There will be a brief Q&A following the performance. Light refreshments will be served.
