Dinner Detectives
The Dinner Detectives is the library’s mystery book group. We discuss mysteries related to a different topic each month. You bring your chosen book and we provide snacks and discussion! Starting with our April 2026 meeting, we will meet on the first Monday of the month at 4 pm.

Themed Reads
Themed Reads is a year-long book group in which you read a book of your choice that corresponds to each month’s assigned theme. The group meets on the second Monday of the month @ 4pm.

Tea and Books
Interested in a daytime book club at the library? Our afternoon book club meets on the third Tuesday of the month @ 1 pm. New members welcome!

Popular Titles
We pick a popular book to read and discuss. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy (while supplies last). This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month @ 7pm.

The S.U.R.E. (Swampscott Unites, Respects, Embraces Diversity) book group meets on the third Monday of the month @ 5pm.

Fiber Friends
Join the Fiber Friends, a crafting group at the Swampscott Public Library. This group meets every Wednesday from 1 to 3pm. All are welcome!

The Ukulele Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. All levels of experience welcome!

Lou Gallo History Buffs
Enjoy chatting about local history and reminiscing about earlier times? The Lou Gallo History Buffs meet on the second Monday of the month @ 10am in the Raymond Room. All are welcome!
