Remarkably Bright Creatures

By Shelby Van Pelt Recommended by: Susan Conner Break Line

Tova Sullivan likes to keep busy.   It helps her cope with the recent death of her husband and the long ago death of her son, her only child.  When offered the position of evening cleaner at the local aquarium, she takes the job and settles into a routine; cleaning, polishing, and getting to know the creatures whose tanks she passes every day.  When she comes to realize that the giant Pacific octopus escapes his tank almost every night to roam the aquarium, there begins a very special friendship.  This book may start off a little slow, but it builds into a lovely story that you will not soon forget.
